Dear Fellow Huskies,

It is my honor and privilege to serve as the President of University of Washington Alumni Association Japan (UWAAJ). The University of Washington is one of the top public research universities in the world; I cannot be prouder to be a part of this organization and to be a Husky.

In the role as President, my quest is to focus on our mission statement (refer to top page) and to increase engagement of every member in order to grow our chapter. Together with other board members, we will continue to provide opportunities for everyone to get to know each other to expand our diverse alumni network. Through these engagements, we hope to inspire lifelong learning and encourage a culture of philanthropy.

We may be separated by the Pacific Ocean, and years may have passed since cramming for exams at Suzzallo Library. However, we hope that you will keep UW close to your hearts through the existence of our alumni network.
